When the predator came to the first house, he just breathed heavily and exerted himself and it blew the house into pieces. The first chick scampered to his sister's house.
The beast came to the second house and huffed and blew and it blew the house apart. The two chicks fled to their sister's house.
But when the beast came to the third house, he breathed heavily and exerted himself but it wouldn't move. The babies were sound inside.
Finally, the predator was too tired to try any longer. He went away hungry.
The three chicks learned that it is important to be strong and to build a secure house. They lived happily in the end in their brick house.
